KPop Demon Hunters has been watched more than twice as many times as Netflix‘s next most popular film, according to their own viewing reports. The animated musical has accumulated 648.7million views across Netflix’s What We Watched reports, putting it comfortably ahead of second-placed The Super Mario Bros. Movie, which has been viewed 271.7million times. The figures were compiled by Deadline from four years of the streaming service’s engagement data, beginning with the second half of 2023 and continuing through to the first half of 2026. The ranking is separate from Netflix’s official Most Popular list, which measures the number of views a film receives during its first 91 days on the platform. Instead, the new list combines the views recorded for each title across all of the streamer’s six-monthly What We Watched reports. The scale of KPop Demon Hunters’ lead underlines the continued popularity of the film more than a year after its release. It amassed a further 130million views during the first half of 2026 alone, making it Netflix’s fourth most-watched film during that period.
