There’s a new player stepping into the U.S. dance music space and it isn’t tiptoeing in.
Kustom Entertainment is making it’s presence known with a bang: Global Frequencies, a one-day EDM event landing Sunday, June 28, 2026 at Azura Amphitheater in Bonner Springs, Kansas. And it’s only the opening salvo. The first in a wider slate of electronic events the team is rolling out across the country.
The first-wave lineup makes their intentions clear. Big, loud, undeniable. DJ Diesel, Shaq’s bass-heavy alias and a genuine festival force, headlines a bill that also includes Loud Luxury, TroyBoi, Alison Wonderland, and festival heavyweight KSHMR with more names are still to land on the billing.

For Kustom, Global Frequencies is a statement of a new direction. The company has built its name on large-scale live events; including their flagship country festival Country Stampede, now hitting its 30th anniversary, and is now turning that pedigree toward dance music. Global Frequencies is the first step of that strategy: a proof-of-concept for a brand betting that the appetite for EDM extends well beyond the coasts and into markets that rarely get a show at this scale.
Then there’s the timing and another smart bet by the Kustom team. Global Frequencies lands the same weekend as Country Stampede’s 30th anniversary on June 25–27, turning Azura into a back-to-back destination for fans of both genres. That’s three days of country rolling straight into a Sunday built for bass and lights, all at the same venue.
“As founder and co-executive producer of the Electronic Dance Music Awards, we’ve seen how powerful dance music can be when the right artists, production, and crowd come together,” said Sean Hamilton. “Global Frequencies is bringing that energy to Kansas City, and we’re proud to have helped connect the show with artists who are going to deliver.”
“Global Frequencies is built to be loud, bold, and unforgettable,” added Matt Tholen, Vice President of Operations at Kustom 440, Inc. “Kansas City is ready for a major EDM moment, and this lineup brings international energy fans here haven’t seen at this level.”
Because that’s the real bet underneath all of this: that dance music doesn’t belong to a coast, a desert, or a single summer weekend that a field in Kansas can carry the same charge as anywhere else, if someone’s willing to build it. On June 28, Kustom will prove the thesis right and Global Frequencies won’t be the finish line.
It’ll be the first chapter in a much longer story.
