Local H‘s “Bound for the Floor” is one of great alt-rock songs of the ’90s and undoubtedly the long-running band’s most popular song. It’s natural for concertgoers to get pretty amped when they hear those opening guitar chords kick in.
As for one fan at a recent Local H gig in Kenosha, Wisconsin… they might have gotten a little too amped. As seen in a YouTube clip, an older looking guy prepares to take flight at the foot of the stage, only to apparently fall straight to the floor.
Indeed, a humorous slow-motion replay shows the man completely whiffing, and the shaming glare on singer Scott Lucas’ face says it all, with singer Scott Lucas calling the stage diver a “dipshit.” To be fair, the crowd does a poor job of catching him, but they also don’t look like a crowd you want to dive on top of. Not so copacetic.
Local H chimed in after the clip caught some viral circulation, posting on X/Twitter: “Stage dive at your own risk. There is NO lifeguard on duty.”
Next up, the veteran rockers are set to support Filter’s upcoming 2026 US tour, which kicks off on March 5th in Wenatchee, Washington. Get tickets here.
