Lorde Announces “Ultrasound” 2025 Tour

Lorde has announced “Ultrasound,” an extensive North American and European headlining tour taking place in fall 2025.

The tour kicks off on September 17th in Austin, Texas, and continues on with stops at the United Center in Chicago; TD Garden in Boston; Madison Square Garden in New York City; Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO; Kia Forum in Inglewood, CA; and The Greek Theatre in Berkeley, CA; among other prominent venues. Afterward, she’ll travel to the UK and Europe for dates running through November and December.

Tickets for Lorde’s “Ultrasound” tour will go on sale beginning Friday, May 16th at 10:00 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster. An artist ticket pre-sale will take place on Wednesday, May 14th (fans can sign up here).

Lorde will be joined on the road by a rotating cast of openers including Blood Orange, The Japanese House, Nilüfer Yana, Chanel Beads, Empress Of, Jim-E Stack, and Oklou.

News of the tour comes in the wake of Lorde’s comeback single, “What Was That,” and the announcement of her fourth studio album, Virgin (due on June 27th). Check out the full list of dates below.

This will mark Lorde’s first formal outing since the conclusion of her “Solar Power Tour” in 2023. Likewise, Virgin will be the follow-up to her 2021 album Solar Power, marking her first new solo music in four years.

Her comeback single, “What Was That,” was first announced in April, and arrived later that month with a music video filmed in New York. Virgin as a whole features production by Lorde, Dan Nigro, Jim-E Stack, and others, and will see Lorde embrace a transparent and personal style of writing.

“The language is plain and unsentimental,” she explained in a message to fans. “The sounds are the same wherever possible. I was trying to see myself, all the way through. I was trying to make a document that reflected my femininity: raw, primal, innocent, elegant, openhearted, spiritual, masculine… I’m proud and scared of this album. There’s nowhere to hide. I believe that putting the deepest parts of ourselves to music is what sets us free.”
