Lucy Dacus has shared a previously unreleased song called ‘No Thank You, I Love You, Goodbye’, and also performed a live cover of Japanese Breakfast’s ‘Paprika’. Dacus shared a lengthy statement on social media announcing the re-release, sharing that she wanted to do it because she has now got her masters back, and has been looking back at how things have changed since she wrote the songs. She also confirmed that the reissue will feature a new song called ‘No Thank You, I Love You, Goodbye’, which was written at the time of the 2016 album but went unreleased until now. “‘No Burden’ is 10 years old. I wrote these songs when I would not have called myself a musician, while I was working other jobs,” the musician shared. “I’d write them in my head during shifts as a box office attendant, or a yearbook photo editor, or a terrible waitress, or through any of the myriad odd jobs I took to work up $195 for my monthly contribution to the room I shared with two friends. “I’d write d...
