The Stranger Things star attended Liverpool’s match against Tottenham Hotspur yesterday (April 27), and got to see her favourite football club take the 2025 title in person.
Liverpool FC shared pictures of Brown alongside Adolescence star Owen Cooper at the game from their official X and Instagram accounts, including a shot of Brown holding up a shirt from the home kit.

Brown has been a supporter of the club since she was a child, along with her brother and father, and previously told liverpoolfc.com that she would stay up to watch their games when she was in the US.
The Reds beat Spurs with a final score of 5-1 at yesterday’s match, securing their second Premier League title in five years, and their 20th English top-flight title overall, equalling the existing record.
Elsewhere, Brown has been embroiled in a back-and-forth with the tabloids over the past few months, slamming those criticising her appearance back in March, saying “I refuse to apologise for growing up”. She hit out at them again during an interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast, saying that the tabloids “love to go in on me with certain things”.
The star also received an apology from Matt Lucas after he compared her to a character from Little Britain.

Brown most recently starred in the Russo brothers’ robot adventure movie The Electric State on Netflix, which the streamer also released a video game prequel for. During press for the film, Brown revealed what her real name is.
It received a two-star review from NME, with James Mottram writing: “No doubt kids will love this curious, retro-future tale with orange VW vans and not-so-subtle nods to Apocalypse Now as Wagner’s bombastic ‘Ride of the Valkyries’ plays out over one of the film’s many battles. But you won’t be able to shake the feeling that there’s a lack of heart and soul here. Thank God the Russo brothers are heading back to the MCU for Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.”
She will also return as Eleven in the fifth and final season of Stranger Things, which co-creator Ross Duffer recently teased as “emotional” and “thrilling”, saying that “the goal is to hit hard”.
