Mobb Deep unveil first release in almost a decade, "Against The World"

Produced by surviving member Havoc, "Against The World" offers a first glimpse of the group’s forthcoming new album, Infinite.

"This one feels like coming full circle," says Havoc. "It's that classic Mobb energy — dark, real, unfiltered. The sound that shaped who we are but also speaks to where hip-hop is right now."

Infinite features further production by Havoc plus four tracks by frequent and long-term Mobb Deep collaborator The Alchemist. The album will be the fourth instalment in Mass Appeal’s ongoing Legend Has It… series by New York hip-hop trailblazers, following on from Slick Rick’s Victory, Raekwon’s The Emperor’s New Clothes, Ghostface Killah’s Supreme Clientele 2, and preceding new offerings from Nas & DJ Premier, Big L and De La Soul.
