Movement Detroit 2026 set times and essential info are here. Start mentally preparing for schedule conflicts now.
The countdown to Movement Detroit just got more real. With set times officially landing ahead of Memorial Day Weekend, attendees can finally begin mapping out their days at Hart Plaza. More importantly, they can start stressing over the inevitable clashes that come with such a strong lineup of dance music.
As always, Movement’s programming stretches far beyond one sound or scene. The Movement Stage will host many of the weekend’s biggest names, including Sara Landry, Carl Cox, Dom Dolla, Richie Hawtin, and Detroit legend Delano Smith. Over at the Underground Stage, things lean darker and deeper with artists such as Dax J, KI/KI, Blawan, Oscar Mulero, and Ellen Allien b2b DJ Stingray primed to design techno sessions beneath Hart Plaza.
Meanwhile, the Waterfront Stage offers more groove with artists like Barry Can’t Swim, DJ Godfather, and Nia Archives bringing house, jungle, and Detroit club sounds into the mix. The Star Gate Stage continues highlighting rising talent and respected selectors, featuring names like Carl Craig b2b Cajmere, Josh Baker, Hot Since 82, and AYYBO throughout the weekend. Elsewhere, the Pyramid Stage balances melodic moments and heavy hitters, featuring appearances from Claude VonStroke, ANNA, DJ Minx, and Octo Octa, while the Detroit Stage once again centers on local artists and the city’s underground community.
Naturally, the set time reveal also means one thing: painful decisions. Do you stay locked into the Underground all night, or sprint across Hart Plaza to catch Carl Cox closing the Movement Stage? Is this finally the year you commit fully to Detroit artists and smaller stages? Or will curiosity pull you toward one of the festival’s crossover bookings like Barry Can’t Swim or The Dare? Those debates are already unfolding online as fans begin building game plans for their three-day marathon.
There’s a lot to remember, so we’ve put together a guide ahead of the event. Keep reading for set times, prohibited and permitted items, and more!

Reminder to Mind Your Belongings:
Unfortunately, many recent festival-goers have reported pickpockets, bag slashings, and theft of wallets, smartphones, purses, and other valuables. While this small number of bad apples in the bunch doesn’t define an entire crowd, some opportunistic people come to these events to take advantage of unsuspecting partygoers. It’s essential to be mindful of your valuables while at Movement.
