Mysterious alt-metal act PRESIDENT have announced a pair of US headlining shows.
The rising band, which remains anonymous, will play the Gramercy Theatre in New York City on December 3rd and the Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles on December 8th. These dates will mark the group’s first US performances and only stateside shows of 2025.
Tickets will be available to the band’s mailing list subscribers starting on Wednesday (August 13th) at 10:00 a.m. local time, and a Live Nation ticket pre-sale for the NYC date begins on Thursday (August 14th) at 10:00 a.m. ET using the code RHYTHM. General ticket sales begin Friday (August 15th) at 10:00 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster and AXS.
PRESIDENT’s press release contained the following message to fans: “Two inaugural headline rallies have been scheduled this December… These are the only U.S. PRESIDENT appearances of 2025. A call to both coasts. A moment of unity. Volume is inevitable.”
Despite having only released three singles, PRESIDENT have enjoyed a viral ascent after appearing on the bill for the 2025 Download Festival as a complete unknown. The act consists of a single member — dubbed The Artist — who sports silver hair and a mask with a wrinkled face. Their debut EP, King of Terrors, is set to drop September 26th.
Fans were quick to notice similarities with another masked alt-metal act, Sleep Token, who happened to headline the Download Festival this year and share ties to some of the same companies used by PRESIDENT. There are also some sonic parallels between the two bands, including alt-metal, R&B, and prog tendencies. Meanwhile, others have pointed out the band’s logo symbol looks a lot like the one used by Crosses, Chino Moreno’s side-project.
Following the US shows, PRESIDENT will close out the year with a string of dates in Australia. They’ll continue touring in 2026 with scheduled dates throughout Europe and the UK. Get tickets for those shows here.
