Neil Young And The Chrome Hearts have been announced as headliners for Blenheim Palace Festival 2026.

The folk rock icon and his new band are set to take to the stage at the event on July 3, as an extension of their ‘Love Earth World’ tour dates.

He will headline the 10,000-capacity UNESCO World Heritage Site in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, with support coming from Elvis Costello & The Imposters with Charlie Sexton.

The band, formed of Young, Spooner Oldham (keys), Micah Nelson (guitar, vocal), Corey McCormick (bass, vocal), and Anthony LoGerfo (drums), being confirmed for the slot follows on the heels of them headlining Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage earlier this summer, and also taking to the stage at the top of the bill for BST Hyde Park.

They have also been on a headline tour this year, and released their new album ‘Talking To The Trees’ over the summer.

They are the latest act to be confirmed for the Oxfordshire summer series, with other headliners for 2026 also including Katy Perry on July 1, Teddy Swims on June 20, and dance music icon Pete Tong Ibiza Classics on June 27.

Young’s headline slot at Glastonbury was given a four-star review, and described by NME as “a headline set that proves that sometimes, there’s still power to be found in an old-school approach”.

“It is, in short, the definition of no frills,” it read. “It’s testament to the power of Young’s songwriting, then, just how brilliantly it all works, how little the momentum drops.”

Since then, the music legend has announced a 50th-anniversary re-release of his 1975 album ‘Tonight’s The Night’ and shared that he was removing his music from Amazon Music.

“The time is here. FORGET AMAZON,” he said, announcing the latter. “Soon, my music will not be there. It is easy to buy local. Support your community. Go to the local store. Don’t go back to the big corporations who have sold out America.”

More recently, he followed his anti-Trump song ‘Big Crime’ with a new video on YouTube titled ‘As Time Explodes’, which saw him hit out at the US president again as well as the “looting oligarchs” Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, and Elon Musk.
