Office Spinoff The Paper Receives Premiere Date

The Paper, the upcoming spinoff of The Office, has revealed its premiere date and an atypical release strategy to go along with it.

The first four episodes will premiere on Peacock on September 4th, followed by two new episodes every Thursday through September 25th.

Here’s the official logline: “The documentary crew that immortalized Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch in the Emmy Award-winning series The Office find a new subject when they discover a historic Midwestern newspaper and the publisher trying to revive it.”

Coming from The Office creator Greg Daniels and Michael Koman (Nathan for You), The Paper stars Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore, Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young, Tim Key, and Oscar Nuñez.
