Ozzy Osbourne passed away at age 76 two weeks ago, and now his cause of death has been revealed. New York Times reports that cardiac arrest and coronary artery disease were listed on Ozzy’s death certificate, which was submitted by his daughter, Aimee Osbourne, at a registry in London. Acute myocardial infarction and Parkinson’s disease with autonomic dysfunction (Joint Causes) were also listed amongst the causes.

Ozzy’s death came two and a half weeks after his final performance, which included a five song solo set and a four song Black Sabbath set. It was also Bill Ward’s first appearance with the band in 20 years.

Countless musicians have paid tribute to Ozzy over the past couple of weeks, and The Flaming Lips, Modest Mouse, and Primus are among those who have recently covered his songs.

Andrew and Dave talk about Ozzy and his legacy in the July 25 episode of the BV Weekly Podcast, and you can stream that below.
