Parts & Labor Announce First New Album In 15 Years Set Of All Sets, Reunion Tour

It's been over 15 years since we last heard new music from Parts & Labor, the New York City noise rockers who played their farewell show in 2012. But they'll be making up for that lost time soon: Set Of All Sets, a double album and their first LP since 2011's Constant Future, is out in July, and today you can hear a preview with the four lead singles "Endless Cycle Pts. 1-4."

For Set OF All Sets, Parts & Labor founding members Dan Friel and BJ Warshaw are joined by drummers Christopher Weingarten and Joe Wong. "If some certain quantum theories are true, everything that might exist, does exist through parallel universes. Grappling with that feels simultaneously full of promise and struck with grief, that anything is possible, but also that this is the universe we’re stuck with," Warshaw explains of the band's return. "We wanted to turn towards promise, to build this thing against so, so many odds. To fight against our own inertia and fraying hope.”

The four-part "Endless Cycle" is 20 minutes total split across the album's two halves, setting a truly explosive and maximalist tone for the reunion. Check it out below along with the full album tracklist, as well as Parts & Labor's upcoming reunion tour dates.
