Phish rang in 2026 with a salute to dairy. Now, halfway through the year, the definitive jam band is breaking their own records.

At Boston's Fenway Park on Friday (July 31), Phish covered "Melt The Guns," a deep cut from XTC's 1982 album English Settlement. The last time they'd performed it was April 29, 1987, so it's the biggest bustout (a song returning to the setlist after a long absence) in Phish history.

Notably, it shatters a record the band set just last week when they covered Foreigner's "Cold As Ice" at NYC's Madison Square Garden — after a gap of 1,469 shows. Phish's version last night was like 15 minutes long and Trey Anastasio played some percussion in the middle. Watch clips of the performance below.
