Piebald‘s 1999 sophomore album, the post hardcore classic If It Weren’t For Venetian Blinds, It Would Be Curtains For Us All, was re-released digitally in 2016, but it’s been out of print on vinyl since its original release. That’s about to change, as Iodine is giving the album a vinyl reissue, due out on February 27. It’s been remastered for vinyl by Jack Shirley at The Atomic Garden, and features updated artwork reconstructed from original source materials and photos, and retrospective commentary written by the band. We have an exclusive blue/white thunderbolts vinyl variant, limited to 100 copies. Pre-order yours while they last in the BV shop.
There’s also a deluxe edition with bonus tracks, including the lost God City Demos, Remixed by Kurt Ballou, and live tracks. Stream that below.
Piebald are also playing some Northeast shows this month, including a Worcester, MA date with Saves The Day and Glassjaw, plus headlining shows in Albany, NY; Hamden, CT; and Portland, ME. They also support The Format in Boston in March. See all dates below.
