Pokemon TCG Pocket‘s next expansion is coming. Every month or two we see a new mini-set or full multi-pack booster expansion added to the game that includes dozens of new cards, rare collectors art cards, and more. But what can we expect from the next set, and when is it arriving?

Here is what we know and what has been revealed so far:
‘Pokemon TCG Pocket’ next expansion release date
The next expansion for Pokemon TCG Pocket will likely release in late March or April. The next expansion after Triumphant Light hasn’t been announced or revealed yet. However, based on the cadence of releases, we can expect another expansion to drop soon.
Triumphant Light’s latest update has just dropped, radically changing how trading works, so the next expansion set could be slightly delayed to accommodate this update. These trading changes had to be implemented due to backlash about the way trading was originally implemented. So, it could have delayed future updates, as the system has seen a full rework.
Given that Triumphant Light only had one booster pack, the next set should have several packs and more than 100 cards. We are due another large set like Genetic Apex, which could mean the release date of the next expansion set is a little further off.
Either way, we will be sure to keep this page updated with the latest updates for the game, as it is revealed. We will also list cards, rare cards, and the theme of the new set when it is properly announced. We are missing some new generation Pokemon, so we could see a focus on them in the next set.
