Poliça Announce New Album Dreams Go, Reveal Title Track: Stream

Poliça have announced their new album, Dreams Go, set for release on October 17th via Memphis Industries. To accompany the news, they’ve shared the title track. Stream it below.

Recorded at Pachyderm Studio in Minnesota, the eight-track album is Poliça’s most emotionally resonant to date, as it was written and tracked in the months following bassist Chris Bierden’s glioblastoma diagnosis. These were his final sessions with the band before losing the ability to play.

The result is a powerful, unflinching collection that captures Poliça at a moment of transition. Led by vocalist Channy Leaneagh, the band continues to expand on its blend of electronic minimalism and layered synth-pop, with production by longtime collaborator Ryan Olson and guest work from Swedish producer Peder Mannerfelt.

In a statement, Leaneagh described the title track as “an anthem for the dreams we swallow, bury away while life goes on without them.” The single offers a preview of the record’s introspective tone — one that balances grief and beauty, heaviness and hope.

Since their emergence in 2011, Poliça have forged a distinct space in contemporary music, known for pushing the boundaries of form and feeling. Following in the footsteps of 2022’s Madness, their sixth studio album continues in that spirit while serving as a tribute to the creative bond that shaped the band’s first decade.

Though Bierden will not return to the stage, Poliça will tour with a new live lineup featuring bassist Alex Nutter.
