Prince Estate Releases Album, Timeless, on 10th Anniversary of Death: Stream

The Prince estate has released Timeless, an album of 10 rare and previously unreleased tracks from his legendary vault to commemorate the 10th anniversary of his death. Stream the album below.

Timeless is the first Prince release curated to span every major era of his career, the estate said in a statement. Songs were recorded between 1977 and 2016 and include material recorded when he was a teenager in Minneapolis and from one of his final captured performances. The collection “offers a powerful reminder of the extraordinary depth, range, and timelessness of his life’s work,” the estate added.

The project was previewed through “With This Tear,” which Prince composed, produced, and performed in November 1991, before he famously gave the song to Celine Dion. The second single, “Stone,” an unreleased recording from spring 1995, was written by Sandra St. Victor, Tom Hammer, and Jules Van Even.
