News All Protomartyr Announce New Album and Tour, Share Video for New Song “Sounds We Cannot Hear” Hotel Usona Due Out September 25 via Domino Jul 24, 2026 By Mark Redfern Photography by Trevor Naud Detroit-formed post-punks Protomartyr have announced a new album, Hotel Usona, and shared its first single, “Sounds We Cannot Hear,” via a music video. They have also announced some tour dates. Hotel Usona is due out September 25 via Domino. Watch the new video below, followed by the album’s tracklist and cover artwork, as well as the tour dates. Hotel Usona is the follow-up to 2023’s Formal Growth in the Desert and 2020’s Ultimate Success Today. Protomartyr is vocalist Joe Casey, guitarist Greg Ahee, drummer Alex Leonard, and bassist Scott Davidson. The band recorded Hotel Usona with producer Dave Fridmann (Mercury Rev, MGMT, The Flaming Lips) at his own Tarbox Road Studios in western New York.
