Real Estate Announce Atlas Anniversary Tour

Real Estate are setting aside the usual music industry traditions and have instead announced an “11 year and seven month anniversary tour” of Atlas, their 2014 album. The breezy indie-rock band will play the LP in full, alongside other hits from its catalog, across North America this summer and autumn. Check out Real Estate’s full list of tour dates below.

The Atlas anniversary tour takes place over just 12 dates, beginning on September 10 in Los Angeles. From there, Real Estate head to Philadelphia, Toronto, and other select cities. The tour is currently slated to end on October 11 in Boston. Opening certain shows along the route are Trace Mountains, Jawdropped, and Subtle Orange.

“Atlas was a pretty big record for us, and chances are if you’re reading this, it’s a pretty big record for you too,” shared Real Estate in a statement. “Nobody ever said, ‘I love Real Estate, but I hate their third LP, Atlas.’ And if they did say that, they never said it anywhere around us—and we read everything you guys write on the internet; some of it can get pretty weird. And so, on this momentous occasion, we will be bringing A CELEBRATION OF ATLAS to a city near you, to honor its 11 year and 7 month anniversary. We’ll be playing almost the entire album in its entirety (basically) and other lesser known tunes from the Atlas era. We’ll also be playing a selection of our greatest hits, because we know you love those too. Please come and celebrate with us—we can’t wait to see you.”

After releasing singles “Talking Backwards” and “Crime,” Real Estate released Atlas in March 2014. Their most recent studio album, Daniel, came out in 2024. And, earlier this year, Real Estate put out The Wee Small Hours, a collection of rarities, B-sides, and previously unreleased songs.
