Revolt Parent Company Offscript Acquires ‘Gaming While Black’ Producer 3BlackDot

Revolt’s parent company, Offscript, has now entered the gaming space thanks to its latest acquisition.

Variety exclusively reports that Offscript Worldwide, the parent company of Revolt, has acquired gaming and digital media company 3BlackDot, firmly positioning itself in the video game industry, which is roughly estimated to generate around  $350 billion. 

Los Angeles-based 3BlackDot, which focuses on Millennial, Gen Z, and Gen Alpha audiences, has plenty to boast about, accumulating over 128 million YouTube subscribers.

The company has helped produce projects such as “Gaming While Black” and “Alpha Betas,” the feature film “Queen & Slim,” and the book series “The Proudest Blue” and “The Kindest Red.”

3BlackDot has also worked with notable names like Lena Waithe, as well as prominent companies such as Netflix, Hulu, and Sony.

We are intrigued to see the fruits of the partnership, because if it means injecting more melanin into the video game space, HHW Gaming is all for it.
