Wednesday night, Rosalía was a guest on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. Within the first couple of minutes in their chat, Fallon brought up that U2's forthcoming album Carnaval de Luz includes a song about the Spanish pop star, "The Mirror Maker (Rosalía)."Rosalía nodded, and kept repeating "Bono," before stating "that's crazy." Fallon asked if she knew Bono. "I don't know Bono, but he texted me. And he told me that he had this new project, this new song — 'The Mirror Maker,' I think it's called — and he was asking me if it made sense, certain words," she said.Rosalía recalled that Bono wanted to use a word "marmolé" in the song. Fallon thought she meant "marmolade." She laughed it off and repeated "marmolé." (I have no idea if that's the proper spelling; as it's not a real word, I'm not sure if it matters.) She continued: "I've never heard this word. I don't know what that means. I did some research and it didn't exist in Spanish, standard Spanish.
