Rubber Band Gun & Joey Joesph Announce New Collab Album ROAM BABY ROAM: Hear “The Longest Party”

Kevin Basko, the prolific Philly musician who records as Rubber Band Gun, is teaming up with Cincinnati's own Joey Joesph (not, not Joseph) for a whole album of collaborative tracks. It's called ROAM BABY ROAM, and although we don't yet know when it will see release, we do get to hear the lead single on the holiest of Bandcamp Fridays. "The Longest Party" is a woozy psych-pop slow jam that reminds me of Basko's past association with acts like Foxygen and the Lemon Twigs. It's the kind of gaping, yawning balladry I'd expect to find deep in the recesses of a latter-day Beatles album. Listen below.
