Jagex has shared a massive roadmap which covers the next 12 months of Runescape.

The ten-minute long Runescape Ahead video gave fans an in-depth look at all the new content that’s set to come to massively multiplayer online role-playing game this year and beyond.

Autumn will see the launch of Runescape’s second skilling boss, Gate Of Elidini, which will be accompanied by a special launch event. A new quest Ode Of The Devourer will also be released, alongside new game mode Group Ironman, a new conjure ability for Necromancy and a fresh Slayer monster.

Jagex has also confirmed two seasonal events, with Harvest Hollow coming in time for Halloween and Christmas Village launching in December. A level 110 skilling update for Woodcutting and Fletching is also due to be released before the year is out, while Runecrafting will get a similar update in the New Year.

The roadmap also promises three new desert quests, a skilling rebalance to increase profitability, a new combat boss and a whole new area expansion coming in late 2025.

Fans seem really excited about the announcements as well. “We are so back,” wrote one of the mods on Reddit. “Huge win from Jagex. The turn-around from this time last year to now has been amazing,” said one fan, with another adding that it “feels like a completely different company. Absolutely wild. I’m loving this.”
