Ah, yes, it’s another strangers episode of Long Time No See: The Podcast as comics Ryan Goldsher (the Madame Ram podcast, Ryan Goldsher: Many People) and Natasha Collier (Netflix Is a Joke Fest, Laughing Skull Comedy Festival) meet for the very first time and have a real — and really funny — conversation. Listen to the new episode above or wherever you get your podcasts, and you can also check out the full video below.
Goldsher and Collier get into a number of topics and tangents. When asked what petty hill they’d die on, for example, Goldsher says he’ll stand tall for Titanic, especially against Ben Shapiro. This led Collier to talk about her OG celebrity crush, Leonardo DiCaprio, and stick up for his dating proclivities. “There’s no movie in the history of ever I feel like got a man as much pussy as Titanic must have gotten Leonardo DiCaprio,” she says. “That’s why when everyone’s always like, ‘Oh, he just dates 22-year-olds.’ Whatever, like yeah! That was his heyday; you want him to, what, date an accountant now?”
When it comes to irrational fears, Goldsher worries about his eyes around department store hooks, but Collier’s are more death focused — Slip ‘n Slide accident or anything that could be mistaken for autoerotic asphyxiation topping her list. But what it really comes down to is not wanting to die alone, a concept Goldsher has trouble wrapping his mind around. “Even if you’re in a car crash, you’re not dying alone,” explains Collier. “You’re dying with the other person who crashed into you.”
“Is that what people say?” digs Goldsher. “‘Well, at least he didn’t die alone… in that car crash… Could’ve been worse; there were other people innocently in the car.'”
