Sammy Virji Extends North America Tour, Announces New Album

Sammy Virji has added 16 dates to his North America Tour, and he’s planning to drop an album right smack dab in between two of them.

Sammy Virji has shared big news — both for his North American fans and those elsewhere in the world. The London-born breakout star specializing in UK garage has announced the North America Tour Part 2, an August 2 – November 15 extension of his current run of dates that happens to coincide with the September 19 release of his upcoming album, Same Day Cleaning.

Two of the dates aren’t new, as Virji previously shared plans to touch down in LA and Denver in September. But the remaining 14 shows take him throughout more of the US and Canada.

The North America Tour Part 2 kicks off at Montreal festival Osheaga, and the only other date that month is the following day, August 2, at Lollapalooza in Chicago. Aside from the aforementioned Denver and LA gigs in the following month, Virji will also perform at LIV Nightclub in Las Vegas on September 5.

Then, the month after that will see the “If U Need It” producer perform at Austin City Limits on October 4 and Hulaween in Live Oak, Florida from October 30 – November 2. That will kick off his most packed month of the tour, taking him to District Atlanta on November 1, Franklin Music Hall in Philadelphia on November 5, Roadrunner Boston on November 6, History in Toronto on November 8, KEMBA Live! in Columbus on November 13, and finally concluding at Russell Industrial Center in Detroit on November 15.

Sammy Virji’s North America Tour Part 2 graphic also includes three blurred-out stops. One is sometime in October and the other two are on November 7 and 14, but the remaining details remain under wraps at the time of writing.
