Scorpions Announce Greatest Hits Compilation Featuring Previously Unreleased Tracks

Scorpions have announced a greatest hits compilation titled From the First Sting, arriving September 26th.

Celebrating the German legends’ 60th anniversary, the comp is set to drop physically on CD, double-CD, and double-LP vinyl. The band’s first hits package in years charts the entirety of Scorpions’ career, from their 1972 debut album through 2022’s Rock Believer.

The tracklist also a previously unreleased version of “This Is My Song” from 1974’s Fly Me to the Rainbow and a previously unreleased rendition of the iconic ballad “Still Loving You” with accompaniment from British violinist Vanessa Mae.

Meanwhile, Scorpions’ 60th anniversary celebration also extends to the stage, with the group set to perform a five-night Las Vegas residency in August at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. The gigs were initially set for spring, but were postponed due to drummer Mikkey Dee’s battle with sepsis. Fans can get tickets here.
