Seven Lions Announces San Diego Show to Conclude Album Tour

Seven Lions is teaming up with Insomniac for the final stop on the Asleep in the Garden of Infernal Stars Tour at San Diego’s Waterfront Park this summer.

Many artists share their creativity and prowess through their sound, but few are able to craft comprehensive worlds surrounding their music as well as Seven Lions. Since 2010, he has enchanted listeners with his staple melodic bass releases and whimsical storytelling. His latest album, Asleep in the Garden of Infernal Stars, and companion EP, The Dreams Strange and Eternal, are both an ode to his roots and an exploration into fresh soundscapes as he continues to evolve his craft.

Last year, Seven Lions announced his Asleep in the Garden of Infernal Stars Tour, bringing along fellow Ophelia Records artists like Jason Ross, MitiS, Kill The Noise, and more across the national tour. Now, he’s revealed that America’s Finest City, San Diego, will be the final stop on the run of shows.

Teaming up with Insomniac to bring the show to life, Seven Lions will perform at Waterfront Park on August 22. Set among palm trees, the downtown skyline, and the bay breeze, it’s the ideal location for a spellbinding evening. “I’ve always wanted to play this venue, and it feels like an amazing place to end this chapter,” he said on Instagram. The night also serves as an Ophelia showcase with label artists Said The Sky, Last Heroes, and Hidden Axis opening the show, along with a back-to-back set from Trivecta and Kill The Noise.

Seven Lions’ tour kicked off last month in Minneapolis, and he’s already ventured to Chicago and Brooklyn to perform to packed crowds. Other upcoming stops before the finale in San Diego include two stops in Texas, as well as a show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre and two nights at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco.
