Seven Lions Unleashes New Conceptual EP on Ophelia

Seven Lions, the melodic bass innovator, continues to master musical storytelling. Through a blend of heavy bass, dubstep, trance, electro-house, and ethereal melodies, he weaves intricate tales of fantasy and science fiction. Last year, this progression continued on Asleep In The Garden of Infernal Stars, and now, he’s furthered his exploration on The Dreams Strange and Eternal. Available via Ophelia Records, this six-track EP serves as a universe-focused lunar companion.

Seven Lions previewed The Dreams Strange and Eternal with two tracks earlier this year. In March, he debuted the trance-infused “Hurricane,” an incredibly euphoric collaboration with Andrew Bayer and OAKS. He followed this in April with “Free,” a unique fusion of piano house and dubstep drops featuring Brieanna Grace. Alongside “Free,” Seven Lions launched a remix contest for fans, with the winner to be announced on May 12. These singles effectively set the stage for the EP.

The remaining four tracks uphold the EP’s cinematic narrative. “A Crown of Seven Moons” serves as a serene, atmospheric introduction, while “Summer“—another collaboration with OAKS—elevates the energy with driving electro and powerful vocals. Seven Lions also experiments on “Dreams,” a track that blends Eurodance influences with heavy dubstep and FORS powerful lyrics. The journey concludes with the emotive and lush “Strange and Eternal.”
