Show Me the Body have announced a 10th anniversary reissue of the debut album, Body War, arriving October 17th.
The NYC hardcore also offered up a re-recording of their early song “One Train.” Originally released on the Yellow Kidney EP in 2014, the track has become a fan favorite, and this vicious new version marks the first time the song has appeared on streaming platforms.
Additionally, the upcoming Body War vinyl reissue — limited to 880 units worldwide — features a die-cut coffin stencil jacket that encloses a bonus 7″ of “One Train.”
The band will be ringing in the reissue drop with a one-off release show on October 17th at 99 Scott in Brooklyn, New York. Support acts include Ron Marciano, Wiki, Baby Osama, Ferment, and a host of DJs. Tickets go on sale Friday (August 22nd) at 10 p.m. ET via this location.
Released in 2016, Body War launched Show Me the Body out of the NYC underground, establishing the group as a modern hardcore institution and must-see live act. Since then, the band has also been active off the stage, establishing CORPUS, a mutual-aid organization and collective based in Queens.
