SILO Dallas to Expand and Open Sister Club in Houston

Six months after opening, SILO Dallas was voted one of the top ten clubs in the US. This week, it announced not just an expansion, but a sister venue in Houston.

A renovated grain silo built in 1959 now houses SILO Dallas, a nightclub destination in the heart of the Dallas’ design district. Just six months after its opening, SILO has been named one of the top ten clubs in the US in DJ Mag’s 2025 Top 100 Clubs in the World. Co-founders Disco Donnie and Patrick Tetrick transformed the 32,000 square foot space into a multi-purpose, immersive event space that’s grabbed attention across the scene.

Disco Donnie is a household name and no stranger to all the highs and lows of the nightclub experience. He came with a vision for what he wanted for SILO. “I’ve been beaten, blocked from exits with Tiësto, charged by the hour for bartenders, and forced to replace my own equipment after Skrillex blew it out,” he told Billboard. “With SILO, we set out to build the kind of place we always wished existed: artist-friendly, fan-first, and run with purpose.”

This artist-friendly, fan-first approach has proven to be successful. Events across all genres continue to sell out, and other communities (even a church whose minister attended SILO’s opening with Tiësto) have found a home in the space.

In addition to the DJ Mag honor, SILO has announced an expansion. Work is already underway to increase the capacity from 3,100 to 5,000, including a wraparound mezzanine and second performance room. The announcements don’t stop there as ground has broken on a “music-forward” pizza bar next door, and a second sister location in Houston.

Six months in and SILO is only getting started. This year has already seen massive acts take to the stage, including Fatboy Slim, Nora En Pure, Alesso, Amelie Lens, SVDDEN DEATH, Chris Lake, Cloonee, and Mau P. The fun continues with the return of Tiësto and Excision, as well as Tinlicker, Porter Robinson, Peggy Gou, Sammy Virji, Cosmic Gate, Sofi Tukker, Timmy Trumpet, and many more.
