Here’s how the SXM Big Ten Radio team voted to shape this week’s edition of the 2024 “Power Rankings”:

1. Ohio State (2-0)

The Buckeyes blanked Western Michigan 56-0 in Columbus

2. USC (2-0)

The Trojans had no problem shutting out Utah State 48-0.

3. Penn State (2-0)

The Nittany Lions had a battle with Bowling Green but prevailed 34-27.

4. Oregon (2-0)

The Ducks’ won a shootout over Boise State 37-34.

5. Nebraska (2-0)

The Huskers scored a big win at home against Colorado 28-10.

6. Michigan (1-1)

The Wolverines lost at home against Texas 31-12.

7. Rutgers (2-0)

A 49-17 win over Akron kept the Scarlet Knights perfect this season.

8. Illinois (2-0)

The Fighting Illini scored a statement win at home against Kansas 23-17.

9. Washington (2-0)

Another win for the Huskies to start the season with a 30-9 victory over Eastern Michigan.

10. Iowa (1-1)

The Hawkeyes gave up an early lead and lost the Cy Hawk Trophy to Iowa State 20-19.

11. Indiana (2-0)

The Hoosiers ran Western Illinois out of the stadium with a 77-3 thrashing.

12. Wisconsin (2-0)

The Badgers took down Western Michigan 28-14 to open their campaign.

13. Michigan State (2-0)

The Spartans pulled off a big upset win over Maryland 27-24.

14. Maryland (1-1)

The Terps lost at home to Michigan State 27-24.

15. Purdue (1-0)

The Boilermakers were idle last week and set to play Notre Dame on Saturday.

16. Minnesota (1-1)

The Golden Gophers evened their record beating Rhode Island 48-0.

17. Northwestern (1-1)

A double overtime loss to Duke 26-20 dropped the Wildcats to .500 on the season.

18. UCLA (1-0)

The Bruins were off and face Indiana at home on Saturday night.
