As its historic 50th season continues, Saturday Night Live has announced the hosts and musical guests for three upcoming back-to-back episodes.
Fresh from the Oscars stage, recent Best Actress winner Mikey Madison will make her hosting debut on March 29th. She’ll be paired with controversial Studio 8H visitor Morgan Wallen, who will be making a return as musical guest after violating COVID protocols around his first appearance on the show in 2020.
For the April 5th show, Jack Black will take on hosting responsibilities during promotions of the upcoming Minecraft movie. He’ll be followed by Jon Hamm, hitting his fourth time hosting the show. Elton John and Brandi Carlile are appearing as joint musical guests for the April 5th show to celebrate the arrival of their joint album, Who Believes in Angels?, which is set for release on April 4th. Then, April 12th’s program welcomes back Lizzo.
Following the star-studded 50th anniversary concert and lengthy celebration show, the current cast of SNL hardly got a break; Lady Gaga’s double-duty return resulted in another high-energy show.
