South Park on Bi-Weekly Schedule for Next Three Episodes

1 week ago 11

While past seasons of South Park have been distributed on a weekly schedule, Season 27 of the animated series will continue to move at a more leisurely pace.

Today, Comedy Central confirmed that after tonight’s new episode, entitled “Sickofancy,” Episode 4 of this season will air on Wednesday, September 3rd, and then Episode 5 will follow on Wednesday, September 17th — continuing the biweekly rhythm that began with the season premiere on July 23rd. All episodes will be available for streaming on Paramount+ the next day, per the lucrative new deal that creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone recently signed.

The logline released for “Sickofancy” doesn’t include much detail but does reveal the return of a long-lasting favorite: “Towelie goes to Washington, D.C.” Odds are good that the show’s take on Donald Trump will continue to be featured.

Watch the new episode of South Park tonight at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central. Check out a teaser and the two first-look photos from the new episode below, as well as our updated ranking of the 100 best South Park songs of all time.
