""Everything Is Money" is an anticapitalist jam that’s structurally meant to reflect what it feels like to live right now. The verses are the expression of anger and frustration over the state of our government and society. Everybody’s mad about something, but a lot of people, I’d say even *most* people, just have this low-grade general distaste buzzing in the background and they carry on with their lives and keep partying through what feels like an impending apocalypse," the band explains.
"So the chorus is meant to reflect the general public’s sorta shrugging off of: “Well, what can I do? Everything is and already was like this, might as well enjoy myself. Don’t bore us, get to the chorus.” Ask yourself why the fuck does everything have to make money? In a world where you’re meant to translate art into loveless data, this song says “fuck you and fuck that”. Someone told us it sounded like “Millions & Memes”’ disgruntled cousin."
"This video was inspired by the lyric “every day I’m searching for the power that’s behind it,” which led me to reflect on how systems (money, tech, algorithms) shape our sense of identity, worth, and control. I wanted to build a colorful, sci-fi “Spaceface” world that feels playful and surreal, yet still loaded with meaning," explains director, Natália from Earth.
"Visually, it follows a digital consciousness navigating a HUD (Heads-Up Display) interface, questioning capitalism, data culture, and the illusion of choice, in sync with the song. The imagery is built around symbolic elements: boxes as confinement, floating letters as us trying to break free, code as the invisible architecture behind it all, and ever-watching eyes: symbols of surveillance, but also self-awareness. The result is a visual world that fuses neo-vaporwave and Y2K-era aesthetics: colorful, hypnotic, and a little dystopian."
