Megan Thee Stallion welcomed numerous guests onstage during her set at Coachella on Sunday (April 13th), including Spiritbox singer Courtney LaPlante for a rendition of their collaborative song “TYG.”
The fiery tune, making its live debut, injected some metal into the rapper’s setlist, and she even graced LaPlante with a killer introduction on the mic: “Make some motherfucking noise for Courtney from fucking Spiritbox!”
As seen in livestream footage of the performance, LaPlante’s appearance is brief but memorable, the singer — who apparently flew in for Coachella on an off-day during Spiritbox’s ongoing tour — looming on a drum riser above Megan and a group of stage dancers in Sasquatch costumes.

It was just one highlight from a set that saw Megan Thee Stallion running through a nearly seamless barrage of songs with some other notable guests: Queen Latifah made an appearance during “Plan B” and a cover of Latifah’s own “U.N.I.T.Y.”; Victoria Monét took the stage for “Spin” and Monét’s “On My Mama;” and Ciara appeared for a mashup of “Roc Steady” and “Goodies.”
Megan Thee Stallion and Spiritbox released “TYG” to acclaim back in October 2024, with the song being featured on the rapper’s Megan: Act II album. That followed a Spiritbox’s officially endorsed remix of “Cobra” from 2023.
The Canadian metal band is having a banner year, having recently released their highly anticipated new album Tsunami Sea in March.
