1 month ago 20

After 10 years and what will soon be five seasons, Stranger Things is finally coming to an end, as the Netflix pop culture juggernaut sets up the final adventure for Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and the rest of the Party, as the forces of evil threaten to overwhelm not just Hawkins, Indiana, but the entire world.

Confirmed returning cast members include Brown, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Brett Gelman, Priah Ferguson, and Jamie Campbell Bower, with The Terminator star Linda Hamilton also joining the cast for this final run of eight episodes. Creators The Duffer Brothers will direct the season premiere, the second episode, and the series finale, while The Shawshank Redemption and The Walking Dead helmer Frank Darabont has been brought in for two episodes as well.

The final season of Stranger Things will be stretched out as three parts, each premiering tied to a major holiday: Part 1 will arrive on Wednesday, November 26th (just in time for Thanksgiving), Part 2 premieres Thursday, December 25th (y’know, Christmas), and then the series finale will arrive on New Year’s Eve, December 31st.
