If you're under 30, then the Alchemist has been making heady deep-concentration rap beats for longer than you've been alive. He's a one-man institution, and he continues to do incredible work in his own personal lane. Last year, he teamed up with Armand Hammer on Mercy, his second collaborative album with the duo, and he got together with Curren$y and Larry June on the Spiral Staircases EP earlier this year. Maybe we'll get to hear that Erykah Badu album one day, too. Today, Uncle Al releases a new EP that includes four songs with four different rappers.

The Alchemist does this sometimes, and his new EP Liquid Form works the same way as past EPs like 2024's The Genuine Articulate. On Liquid Form, Alchemist has one song apiece with Queens pioneer Kool G Rap, Atlanta star 2 Chainz, and underground fixtures Conway The Machine and Boldy James. All of these guys have long histories with Alchemist; G Rap guested on Mobb Deep's Alchemist-produced "The Realest" way back in 1999. On the new EP, all four Alchemist beats sound great, and all four rappers are right in their respective zones. We also get instrumental versions of all four tracks. Listen below.

Speaking of Boldy James, the Detroit titan continues to release new music at a baffling pace. Today, he shares Trapper's Alley 3: Hell Or High Water, the latest album that he's made with Montreal producer Nicholas Craven, a frequent collaborator. By my count, this is Boldy's fourth project of 2026. The man must never sleep. Listen below.
