These days, Tame Impala are doing pop-star shit. When Kevin Parker and friends first released "Dracula" last year, the song initially seemed like a cute Halloween novelty, but it turned out to be an actual crossover hit, the band's first to crack the Hot 100. The song became much, much bigger when Jennie, a member of the hugely popular K-pop girl group Blackpink, appeared on a remix. The "Dracula" remix is now a global summer smash. On the Hot 100, it recently cracked the top five, becoming the biggest-ever hit for either artist. Last night, Tame Impala and Jennie performed the "Dracula" remix together for the first time ever. Right now, Tame Impala are on a North American arena tour. On Wednesday night, they played the second of two shows at Boston's TD Garden. Jennie surprised the crowd when she jumped up onstage during "Dracula."
