Terminator 2: Judgment Day Returning to Theaters This May

Most people under a certain age will never get to experience Terminator 2: Judgment Day without knowing about its big twist: The Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is the good guy this time. However, everyone will get to enjoy James Cameron’s iconic 1991 sequel on the big screen, as the movie is returning to theaters for an eight-week run this May, celebrating its 35th anniversary.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day will be screening in four major theatrical formats: original 35mm and 70mm prints, as well as 4K DCP and 3-D DCP digital restorations. The movie tells the heartwarming story (seriously!) of Schwarzenegger’s T-800, reprogrammed to protect the young John Connor (Edward Furlong) and his mother Sarah (Linda Hamilton) from the terrifying T-1000 (Robert Patrick).
