tg.blk reveals plans for new EP, besides you

besides you follows tg.blk's 2024 EP IT'S NOT THAT DEEP and a string of previous single releases. "Stop It" arrives today as a preview of the six-track collection of songs. The track pushes back against internet hate, as she explains, "“I wish everyone who hated on me would just be normal and worry about themselves. I'm over here enjoying my life. In another universe, people know how to be normal when you want nothing to do with them - but sadly this isn’t that universe.”

The trilogy of EPs chronicles the arc of a relationship, with besides you reflecting the early stages of love. After monthly relationship confession Q+As on Instagram blew up, tg.blk is looking to engage with the community that she's built through her music. Speaking about the EPs themes, tg.blk says it focuses on "beautiful women, flexing on bitches, getting sexy", combining a range of influences from 80s R&B and funk, to boom-bap.
