The Cult have announced an October 2025 North American tour that will see the band performing a separate set as their early iteration, Death Cult.
Dates kick off October 9th in Niagara Falls, Ontario, and run through October 30th in Los Angeles. Patriarchy will provide support on the tour, which hits major markets in New York City, Las Vegas, and San Francisco. See the full list of tour dates below.
A Live Nation ticket pre-sale for select dates begins Thursday (July 17th) at 10:00 a.m. local time using the code LIGHTS. General ticket sales start Friday (July 18th) at 10:00 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.
This isn’t the first time The Cult have played a separate set as Death Cult, the early goth/death-rock version of the band. In 2023, the duo of Ian Astbury and Billy Duffy performed under the name for select shows, running through a setlist that spanned all three phases of the band, from the pre-Duffy iteration Southern Death Cult, to Death Cult, and The Cult’s first two albums: Dreamtime (1984) and Love (1985).
The upcoming gigs should offer a similar setlist, though no explicit details were given in the band’s press release.
