The Guest List have shared their monotony-busting and anthemic new single ‘Mundane’ – check it out below. The track is the latest taste of the Manchester indie five-piece’s forthcoming debut album ‘Something Real‘, which is set to be released on August 28. Pre-order/pre-save the record here. ‘Mundane’ follows on from the previous singles ‘You Should Care‘, ‘If Ever Your Devil Is Kind‘ and the album’s title track, and it sees frontman Cai Alty cathartically singing about the small frustrations of bland and repetitive everyday life. The lyrics are about the monotony of the every day – fitting curtains, soaking dishes, etc. All things that can start to drive us mad when life becomes too predictable.
