The Rolling Stones are rolling out their new album Foreign Tongues, but as of now they aren't supporting it with a tour. Last year the band reportedly scrapped plans for 2026 live shows because Keith Richards couldn't commit to touring. According to a new interview, all hope may not be lost for those who hope to see the rock legends onstage again. Speaking to the AP recently, Mick Jagger said, "I would love to tour the album. I absolutely would love to, so I hope to do it as soon as that's possible." Richards was less enthusiastic: "Yeah, yeah, possibly, you know, I mean, at the moment, we're just sort of saying, 'We finished the record, let's do this.'" He added, "Not this year."
In the meantime, we get director Francois Rousselet's music video for official lead single "In The Stars," which features de-aged versions of Jagger, Richards, and Ronnie Wood. It's The Irishman of music videos. After recruiting Sydney Sweeney for their "Angry" video three years ago, the Stones cast Marty Supreme/I Love LA star Odessa A'zion, who was at the Foreign Tongues launch event, to dance before them as they rock a party. At one point she licks de-aged Jagger's face.
“Are you kidding me? It's my dream," A'zion says of working with the Stones. "The first record that I ever got that I listened to from start to finish was Tattoo You. I'm obsessed with the Rolling Stones. This is in my bucket list for sure." See her and the AI-altered Stones in action below, where you'll also find the AP interview. (Jagger talks tour around the 2:50 mark, while Richards comments around 4:20.)
Foreign Tongues is out 7/10 via Capitol.
