‘The Simpsons’ returns to ‘Fortnite’ with ‘John Wick’ crossover

The Simpsons is returning to Fortnite later today (July 30) as part of the new Reload season, alongside a John Wick crossover. The hugely popular collab saw more than 80million people log in over the course of the six-week event. Earlier this year, Epic Games confirmed The Simpsons would be returning this summer and now more details about the new crossover have been confirmed. “The Simpsons are crashing the party again, and this time they’re bringing the chaos straight to Reload,” said Epic Games. An updated version of Springfield map is playable and now hosts up to 50 players. “Springfield holds down the map rotation solo until August 3, when Elite Stronghold and Slurp Rush join back in.” A POI inspired by John Wick’s The Confidential hotel has also been added, with players receiving passive healing once inside. Proximity chat will also be enabled inside The Confidential so you can talk to enemy players.
