The White Lotus’ Mike White to Compete in Survivor Season 50

A fun piece of trivia that you may or may not know: The White Lotus creator Mike White is a Survivor superfan who competed in season 37 of the show, a.k.a. Survivor: David vs. Goliath, to an impressive second place finish.  The White Lotus itself also takes more than a few cues from the reality series—from its picturesque shooting locations to the dramatic soundscapes; White has even had several Survivor contestants cameo in past seasons of Lotus. So perhaps it’s only appropriate that White has now been named as one of the returning players who will compete in Survivor’s upcoming 50th season, which is set to premiere in spring 2026.
