Tim Robinson has a very well-established brand at this point, and it’s certainly on display in the new trailer for his upcoming HBO comedy series The Chair Company, which features Robinson as a family man attempting to sort out a “vast criminal conspiracy.” There will, of course, be plenty of yelling along the way.
Accompanied by the dulcet tones of Christopher Cross’s “Ride Like the Wind,” the trailer shows Robinson’s William Ronald Trosper trying to balance his investigation with his family life, as his concerned wife (Lake Bell) has concerns about what he might be up to. “People are nuts out there,” William observes.
Created by Robinson and Zach Kanin, the show’s cast also includes Sophia Lillis, Will Price, Joseph Tudisco, Lou Diamond Phillips. The first episode of The Chair Company will premiere October 12th on HBO and HBO Max, with the remaining seven episodes running weekly on Sundays.
