Tove Lo teamed up with SG Lewis back in 2024 for their collaborative EP Heat, which we liked quite a bit. But now, it's time for a new Tove Lo album. A couple of days ago, the Swedish pop star announced the title and release date of her sixth studio album Estrus, which arrives in September. Today we get its lead single, a jolt of trance inducing dance-pop called "I'm Your Girl Right?"
If the title wasn't enough indication, "I'm Your Girl Right?" is all about feeling uncertain, rooted in an antsy four-on-the-floor beat, buzzing discordant synths, and a siren-like wail in the distance. "Promise you'll never leave me/ Don't let me down," Lo sings before the disco-inspired keys kick in.
The video for "I'm Your Girl Right" was directed by Nogari, shot in a former monastery outside São Paulo with a crew of 70 dancers. Check that out below, along with the Estrus tracklist and Tove Lo's upcoming tour dates.
