Toys That Kill announce first album in 10 years, ‘Triple Sabotage’ (stream a track)

Toys That Kill, one of the many beloved, long-running bands led by cult DIY punk hero Todd Congelliere, will release their first full-length album in a decade next year. It’s called Triple Sabotage, and first single “Backwash Me The Antidote” finds Toys That Kill doing what they do best, churning out raw, revved-up garage punk with sweet melodies wrapped in steel wool. Todd says, “I was on a plane coming back home from a very fun TTK tour and thought that we should have a new song to throw into the set. I was going through demos and this was the one I wanted to work on when we got home. This quickly turned into a full album, which was a pleasant surprise.” Listen below.

Triple Sabotage comes out February 20 via Recess Records, and it also features the band’s recent single “The Cutting Board.” You can hear that one below too.
