Ultra Worldwide has announced that Estadio Banorte Square in Mexico City will host Ultra Mexico in fall 2026.
Ultra Mexico seems like a distant memory by now, but that won’t be the case come November 7-8. Ultra Worldwide has shared plans to bring the dance music festival back in 2026, this time at Estadio Banorte Square in Mexico City.
At the time of writing, no lineup details for Ultra Mexico are unavailable to the public. Across its 2017 and 2018 editions, the festival hosted artists like Martin Garrix, Armin van Buuren, Marshmello, and Steve Angello. And while all of those artists remain fixtures of Ultra lineups today, it remains to be seen whether Ultra Mexico’s billings will reflect the flagship Miami festival’s recent emphasis on event debuts.
Estadio Banorte is a soccer stadium in Mexico City’s historic Coyoacán neighborhood. It was previously known as Estadio Azteca prior to a rebrand ahead of the 2026 World Cup, which also included extensive renovations. The venue can host up to 87,000 attendees.
Ultra Worldwide is the international event banner of Ultra Music Festival, which first took place in Miami in 1999. Over the years, it has hosted events throughout Asia, South and Central America, and Africa.
Ultra Mexico isn’t the only recent addition to the Ultra Worldwide portfolio. In December, it came to light that the highly influential event brand would team up with Audiology Touring and WellingtonNZ on the debut edition of Ultra New Zealand. Meanwhile, the flagship Ultra Music Festival has announced that it will return to Miami’s Bayfront Park in March 2027.
Tickets are set to go on sale Thursday, April 30. Sign up to receive updates and find additional details on the Ultra Mexico website.
